New Super Mario Bros. Wii Just 6 Hours Long

O dear it seems that Nintendo’s latest installment for the Wii seems not as long as we estimated it would be. According to the UK’s Official Nintendo Magazine, the New Super Mario game can be played through in or under 6 hours. In a Q&A a reader questions on the title, they remarked that while great fun, their reviewer was able to “blitz through it” in six
hours. Granted, this is without going back to collect all Star Coins, which require multiple play-throughs to complete.

While some developers think 6 hour games are the way of the future some people here at NiSuTe dare to differ that. We don’t want short games. we want games that last. but we don’t know what the replay value is of the game up to now. so i guess we just have to wait. Never the less 6 hours for a single player game is short. on the other hand i finished Halo 3 also in 6 hours.
