And here we go!! The Nintendo Splatoon Direct has arrived with a host of information to go by, leaving us with a globs of ink-fueled fun.

Besides the Splatoon news, Nintendo has made some very interesting announcements. One of them being a adding Nintendo themed rides at theme parks, collaborating with Universal. As far as I’m concerned, if this would have been the only announcement, I would have been a very satisfied customer with Nintendo as they wrapped up their presentation. An absolute fantastic news!

However, that wasn’t the only announcement they made. Nintendo has managed to pull its first annual profit in years despite missing its Wii U sales target. This is mostly thanks for Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. Even the New Nintendo 3Ds and the 3DS XL got off to a good start and has sold well.

And now, take an in-depth look at Splatoon, the new shooter coming to Wii U on 29th May! Having trouble waiting, then Nintendo having a beta-test on the 9th of May, called the Global Test Fire, at the following UK times:-

04:00 – 05:00

12:00 – 13:00

20:00 – 21:00

Be there and indulge in furious 4 VS 4 battles and as they say ” PREPARE TO DYE!”
