Although the E3 Monday is less packed with press conferences this year, Ubisoft kicked the day off with an impressive show. With a total of 12 games, most of them got long showing time, the hour was well worth it. New IP’s, a long awaited sequel and triple-A games – Ubisoft’s hour of the year.

Ubisoft’s E3 press conference kicked off with the appearance of Shigeru Miyamoto. The father of Mario took the stage to announce Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The Raving Rabbids are entering the Mushroom Kingdom for a turn-based tactical adventure game. It sounds like a non Mario-ish game, but after seeing the trailer we are looking forward to the characters collaboration. Basically because the combination of the characters look humorous and the battles have interesting gameplay elements that looks like XCOM. The game will launch August 29 on Nintendo Switch.
