Kids Mode will also be returning and the Dance Unlimited Service will be updated throughout the year to keep you grooving along all year round.

It’s been a while since we’ve last had some new information on Beyond Good & Evil 2 but we did get a new trailer that showcased our characters and a hint to what the story is going to be based on. By the looks of it, Jade will be our main antagonist and she’ll be up to plenty of mischief.

Whilst details are sparse and there is still no release date Ubisoft did have something to say about the game. Ubisoft will be partnering up with HitRecord which will lead a collaborative effort with the community. This means that Ubi will be taking submissions from the community whether that be music, art, song lyrics or even funny dialogue. This opens up the opportunity for you to really be a part of the game

Rainbow Six: Siege – Another Mindset – E3 Trailer

Moving on, Ubisoft announced a documentary focused on Rainbow Six and the games most influential players and how they’ve impacted the games development and lifespan. It’ll follow streamers, Pro players and Forum members. The documentary is part of a celebration that Rainbow Six Siege recently hit 35 million players.

The documentary is set to release around August 16th-19th during their Paris Pro League event.

Now, most of you may have missed this since it didn’t get the gratitude of being in Ubi’s E3 presentation but none the less, news is news. Space Junkies VR got a brand new trailer and the announcement of a beta which is set for later this month on June 28th through to July 2nd. You can expect to see four maps during the beta period.

Space Junkies is a multiplayer shooter for Oculus and Vive and offers fun jet pack and zero gravity chaos.

Trials® Rising – E3 2018 – Announcement Gameplay Trailer

A not so surprising announcement was the reveal of Trials Rising. First off, the game is scheduled for a February 2019 release on Xbox One, PS4, Windows and Nintendo Switch.

Ubi has made a promise for there to be more tracks than ever before! Which is great news for the players. Even more interesting is that Ubi have been talking and working with key community members to help build the game’s many levels. They’ve been shaped and curated by the comunity and all in game guides have been made by them too!

There was also an announcement for a beta coming later this year.

After the inital trailer there was a lot of questions about The Division 2 but Ubisoft came at us with a double whammy! Giving us a new trailer and some gameplay too.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of Washington DC during the games setting. The streets and the different kinds of people we can expect to meet. From a lovely garden to grimey streets infested with dead animals and bad guys there’s plenty to see.

Moving onto the gameplay, Ubi showed us some of the new mechanics that were introduced. The gameplay orientates around a squad of players taking on a mission and fighting a boss using tactics and new abilities.

Each player will be able to choose a specialisation after completing the campaign. The specialisations give you access to a signature weapon, special powers and abilities as well as unique cosmetics for each specialisation. The idea here is to have a squad work together and synergise to become a more efficient and more powerful team. This will definitely come in handy with the new additions of raids into the game. You can now squad up with 7 other players to make a team of 8 and explore and fight together.

There are plans in place for post-game content support too. Year 1 should include story and gameplay content for players to experience, all of which is free for everyone. Great stuff!

Ubisoft also announced a beta for later on this year,  you can sign up for the beta below:

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Donkey Kong Adventure

There was also an annoucment for a DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The expansion will include fan favourite Donkey Kong characters such as Donkey Kong, Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Cranky Kong. The DLC will feature new abilities for the characters and will also include four new maps into the game.

If you’re excited then you won’t have to wait long, you can expect to see this expansion on June 26th for Nintendo Switch.

Skull & Bones

Skull and Bones: E3 2018 Gameplay Video

Ubisoft gave us another trailer and gameplay for Skull & Bones, their take on a loot plundering pirate game.

Here’s what Ubi have to say about the game…

“It is the golden age of pirates. Renegade captains command the most powerful weapons on Earth., warships. You are an upstart pirate captain who refused the King’s pardon and sailed from the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, an untamed frontier full of lavish riches”.

Skull & Bones will feature both Single and Multiplayer elements which will allow you to be a lone sailor, team up with friends or betray them for more gold. However, ruling the seas is no easy task. You will have to account for wind direction and the locations of other ships which have bigger and better weaponry. Maybe they’ll even board you.

The game is set for release this Autumn with a beta due soon.

TRANSFERENCE E3 2018 trailer

Ubisoft have released a quite spooky trailer for their new psychological thriller game; transference.

The game will blend both movie and gameplay elements as you play a boy caught up in his father’s strange obsessions. You’ll be solving puzzles and exploring creepy locations as you try to learn what is happening with the family’s lies and guilt all whilst trying to escape this experiment.

The game is set for a release in Fall 2018 on Xbox One, Ps4, Oculus, Vive and PS VR.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas: E3 2018 Gameplay Trailer

Starlink is a new space-themed game similar to the concept of No Man’s Sky. You’ll explore space and battle out with other ships in the deepest depths of space.

Each planet you visit will have its own ecosystems, wildlife and factions that are battling for control of resources. Whilst the game is quite complex Ubisoft have said they’ve tried not to dumb down the game for kids; the intended audience. It’s important for kids to appreciate these things too.

Starlink also plays on the idea of having spaceship figures you can buy as toys but also double up to control some of the action in the game too which is really cool!

Starlink is set to release by the end of this year on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Oh and did I mention that StarFox is in the game too…

A fan favourite game makes a return this year in the shape of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Now for those of you that keep up with gaming news you” be aware of a leak that basically revealed the game early. So this reveal wasn’t much of a surprise to me. But hey, here it is.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: E3 2018 Gameplay Walkthrough Trailer

Ubisoft has really been trying to refresh the Assassin’s Creed series since last years game; Origins. Which was a masterpiece by the way. You’ll be glad to know that Ubi is still at it with adding new features to the game. The idea of this game is for it to be YOUR odyssey. You’ll be able to choose between a male or female protagonist. And, you’ll be able to make in-game dialogue choices. Whilst these aren’t exactly innovative additions they are new to the series so it’s a step forward at least

There is a lot of gameplay to go through but most of it appears to be an expansion of pre-existing combat systems in the previous title; Origins. You can expect bigger skill trees, new weapons and ways to fight. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set to launch this October.
