Remember this article? Well forget about it.

Looks like the Virtual Boy lives again (not the Nintendo Console) with an announced mate, Kate! Lionhead, the producer of the tech demo for the Kinect, has decided to make him into his own game after all. Looks like Milo will not die alone after all in a cold storage center.

“Project Milo absolutely continues in development at Lionhead Studios,”
said Microsoft Project Manager Aaron Greenberg.

“It is just not a product we plan to bring to market this holiday. The team at Lionhead has always been a center of innovation and will continue to deliver against that charter.”

Looks like we can look forward to Milo and Kate coming out sometime in the future.

ThinkTank: Microsoft Press Conference.

As the E3 press conference for Microsoft the year comes to a close, and people who decided not to go to the conference or forgot to go are still punching walls over not getting a free Xbox 360 slim (Okay, maybe only I am).

Microsoft seems to have gone in the direction of the Wii Press Conference last year, trying to make a multi-media device instead of a console. They had mainly focused on the Kinect and features on Xbox Live. This isn’t necessarily bad, this is really good from a business standpoint, but many hardcore fans had shown distaste to Microsoft’s focus on Gizmos & Gadgets rather than Games and gore.

After a year of Resident Evil 5, everyone has been waiting for the announcement of the next installment in the series, Resident Evil 6.

Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi has said that Resident Evil 6 would be a, “total reboot” to the series.

Unfortunately, producer Jun Takeuchi said that he will not be involved in 6.

“I’m not involved in Resident Evil 6. There’s actually a number of things I want to do.”

“If I say it like that, it might be taken as ‘next game,’ but before reaching the step of making a game, we — Japanese developers — have a lot of things that we must do. To begin, I have a number of things I’d like to do related to Capcom as a whole.”

Looks like we have to see who will fill his spot for the next installment.

Microsoft Changes Xbox 360 Box Art?!

June 8, 2010 by Patrick Traynor

Microsoft has recently updated their cover art for new Xbox 360 titles.
If anyone that has pre-ordered, or even viewed the box art of Mafia II or Kane and Lynch: Dog Days, you might have noticed the updated Xbox 360 logo.

This is the old one:

And this is the new one

As you can see, Microsoft has lightened the shade of Grey on the Xbox logo, the green bar under the logo has been shortened, the circles logo has been replaced with this new ‘wave’ logo, and the Xbox Live symbol is completely gone all together.

This has not yet been officially announced by Microsoft, or has been placed on any new games as of yet. It seems to be of a possible pending design or used for certain games on the Xbox 360.
