More likely than not you have probably heard of the legendary game Deus Ex. Chances are you also never gave it a try yourself.

For the new Deus Ex they made an outstanding CGI trailer which will surely lure in many of us that never tried Deus Ex before.

This trailer must be the most impressive CGI animation i’ve seen this year!
Can you spot the Ghost In The Shell and Blade Runner references?

The game is up for pre-order right now on www.deusex.com but no release date has been set.
Gamespot reckons it will be released by Q4 2010. Who knows.

Humble Indie Bundle; Pay Whatever You Want

May 4, 2010 by Kevin Ketelaars

Cross platform, high quality and cheap as dirt games coming your way. Well, only if you’re feeling poor. If you’re feeling generous you can choose to pay more to support the developers of the games and you can choose to give part of it to charity (or all of it).

All games in this pack are available on Windows, Mac and linux.
The pack includes the following games:

  1. World of Goo
  2. Aquaria
  3. Gish
  4. Lugaru HD
  5. Penumbra

This bundle will be available for purchase for about a week over at:

http://www.wolfire.com/humble

Here’s how to get it (video):

The Humble Indie Bundle is a unique kind of bundle that we are trying out.

Pay what you want. If you bought these five games separately, it would cost around $80 but we’re letting you set the price!

All of the games work great on Mac, Windows, and Linux. We didn’t want to leave anyone out.

There is no middle-man. You can rest assured that 100% of your purchase goes directly to the developers and non-profits as you specify (minus credit card fees).

We don’t use DRM. When you buy these games, they are yours. Feel free to play them without an internet connection, back them up, and install them on all of your Macs and PCs freely.

Your contribution supports the amazing Child’s Play charity and Electronic Frontier Foundation. By default, the amount is split equally between the seven participants (including Child’s Play and EFF), but you can tweak the split any way you’d like.

Monster Hunter Tri Preview

April 14, 2010 by Kevin Ketelaars

What crosses your mind when you see a furry critter running about? After a recent visit to Nintendo Benelux I think: “what a nice pair of boots”. Me and my friend Kevin went to Nintendo to try out the upcoming game Monsterhunter Tri. This game is made for the Nintendo Wii and I must admit that my first impression of the game was a good one. Of course the graphics of this game can’t match the graphics of the Xbox 360 and PS3. Does that really matter? I think not! If you ask me, Capcom did a very good job to make the game look good on Wii. You do however have to occasionally squeeze your eyes a bit to make it look normal.

9 years of digital rubber

December 18, 2009 by Kevin Ketelaars

You know how it was in the old days. You had a car, a road and 4 wheels. You had a button to accelerate a button to decelerate and arrows or a stick to steer. This combination worked fine for a long time and for many older 3D racers, but then gran turismo 1 came along. Read more

Dante’s inferno Death Edition goes dead space

December 15, 2009 by Kevin Ketelaars

Apperently EA figured Dead Space was not popular enough so they had to include a skin of Isaac Clarke in Dante’s inferno (PS3). The “Death Edition” bundle also comes with a copy of the poem, some making-of documentaries, the soundtrack, a digital copy of The Divine Comedy and a ten minute preview of Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epicand.

Good thing for us europeans because it will be exclusive to europe for a change. However we could assume everything becomes available to the US market as soon as the game is released in the US.
