Capcom just released a the first Behind the Scenes video for Lost Planet 2. The Producer, Takeuchi-san, and the Director, Oguro-san, talk about the story to the sequel to Lost Planet. The planet of EDN III has warmed up, making life a bit better for the humans living there. But with the tempature warming up, it’s made the Akrid more hostile. The New The PlayStation Move Might Already Hit A Weakspot

Hitting this fall in its three forms – alone, with the PlayStation Eye, or bundled with a PS3. The Playstation Move has been announced at the GDC. No pricing was given, but the bundle with the PlayStation Eye is said to run under $99.

But as we watched the whole thing go down we also started debating:

Do i smell trouble.. We see “controllers true TV’s”.
again We see “light Ballz of the controler comin or breaking off”.
We see “people hitting lamps and stuff”.
We see “a Wiimote like condom”.
We see “more than 4 people not able to play since the cam will pick up other controlres”.
We see “batteries running out in ultra fast speed”.

Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit Now Sold Separately. 120GB Off The Shelves In Europe.

There you are with your 20GB Xbox 360 HDD. And it’s filling up rapidly lately with all the downloadable content that is coming out lately. O and Microsoft know about it. So what to do? Well Microsoft’s solution is: Let’s pull the 120GB HDD off the shelves and leave everyone with the 60GB Starters kit. Why? Well, the 120 had a free Xbox360 Data Migration kit along with it and cost +/- 100 Euro. But the 60 version (that has NO Xbox360 Data Migration kit and comes along with a free headset (that you already have), a 3 month live gold card (that most also already have), and an internet cable (that you also already have)) costs 80 Euro and you have to buy a transfer unit for it that is priced at 20 Euro incl shipping cost.

This does sound like Microsoft is trying to dump their goods on the marked while making profit and scr** us over while at it. So what did we do? We asked Microsoft if they could send over a transfer unit and we send it back after use. They said no.. Ok, so we looked for a transfer unit but there is something you need to know there too! A 120GB Xbox360 Data Migration Kit doesn’t work on a 60GB transfer unit! And we are not quite there yet. Since we can transfer data with a UMD too. But we had trouble with doing that sinds our account got stuck in limbo several times and then you need to delete the account first and recover it again by the recovery system. Problem is if you have your UMD still in your 360 you will lose also all your safe files..

1 60 GB HDD (worth 35 Euro)
1 Headset (worth 20 Euro)

And you need another 20 euro for the Xbox360 Data Migration Kit. That is the same price as the 120GB remember? This is NOT stated on the package of the 60GB Starter Kid. And we don’t have another option here!

I played After Burner for a long time on my beloved SEGA. And it is starting to look like that i am soon be on After Burner once more. After Burner has a long history and back in 2006 After Burner Climax we saw the first After Burner Climax game, but Japan only. PS3 Down And Out! #Update 8 Its “fixed”

All around the world, PlayStation 3 consoles simply aren’t working like they’re supposed to, with an error preventing people from not just going online.

UPDATE - Sony has updated, saying “We’re narrowing down the issue and continue to work to restore service to all. Updates as soon as we have them.”

UPDATE 2 - A mass story-telling session on internet gaming forum NeoGAF points towards the issue potentially being related to a calendar bug in older PlayStation 3 consoles, not the PlayStation Network as was first suspected. Bear in mind this is mob science, however, and is by no means official confirmation on the cause of the problem.

UPDATE 3 - Citing unnamed “developers and studios”, British site Develop say that the issue is affecting titles currently in production for the PlayStation 3, with debug consoles – used by developers to actually make games – thrown “into a rebooting cycle, due to an endlessly-looping error message”.

UPDATE 4 - PS3’s still aren’t working, and there has been no official update from Sony in over 9 hours. Their last Twitter update says that they believe the issue does not appear to be impacting PS3 Slim consoles.

UPDATE 5 - Sony Twitters Rest assured, we’ve many people working on fixing this issue. As soon as we have some news, we’ll let you know.

UPDATE 6 -As you may be aware, some customers have been unable to connect to the PlayStation Network today. This problem affects the models other than the new slim PS3.

We believe we have identified that this problem is being caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system.

Errors include:

• The date of the PS3 system may be re-set to Jan 1, 2000.
• When the user tries to sign-in to the PlayStation Network, the following message appears on the screen; “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)”.
• When the user tries to launch a game, the following error message appears on the screen and the trophy data may disappear; “Failed to install trophies. Please exit your game.”
• When the user tries to set the time and date of the system via the Internet, the following message appears on the screen; “The current date and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)”
• Users are not able to playback certain rental video downloaded from the PlayStation Store before the expiration date.

We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours. In the meantime, if you have a model other than the new slim PS3, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data.

As mentioned above, Please be advised that the new slim PS3 is not affected with this error. We are doing our best to resolve the issue and do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE (And final) 7 -According to the official U.S. PlayStation.blog, the issue has been “resolved.” Patrick Seybold, senior director, corporate communications writes:

We are aware that the internal clock functionality in the PS3 units other than the slim model, recognized the year 2010 as a leap year. Having the internal clock date change from February 29 to March 1 (both GMT), we have verified that the symptoms are now resolved and that users are able to use their PS3 normally.

If the time displayed on the XMB is still incorrect, users are able to adjust time settings manually or via the internet. If we have new information, we will update you through the PlayStation.Blog or PlayStation.com.
