Write for us

We are looking for new writers and editors!

So say you would like to write an article for us, like a game review, preview, or attend a game show like E3, GamesCom, or Tokio Game Show and provide coverage. What kinds of things are we looking for in a writer, be it a reviewer, columnist, news reporter, or other writing position?

We generally have a minimum word-count of 350 words per article, and we do prefer people who can write regularly, preferably once a month or more.

We try to differentiate ourselves from other websites by focusing on upcoming small and indie developers, talking to and with developers about making games, with gamers and fans about playing games and what makes gaming great and even useful, and with other game-related people and companies, such as companies behind gamer-clothing. We also write about our vision of the gaming future, and try to make often complicated technological game talk more accessible to the average gamer by leveraging development experience and industry insights and presenting them in a friendly format. (an example of this is our education programme where we give lectures to parents of elementary school kids about the good and bad of gaming, and what to pay attention to as a parent with a gaming child).

A fresh and motivated crew at GDC

So what’s in it for YOU?

We take our writers very seriously. Some of our US-based people are attending E3 this year, and we are preparing for our second week-long trip to cologne, which will host GamesCom and the Game Developers Conference later this year as well. You get to go to game developers and publishers and talk to the people behind the games and have a sneak peek at what they are working on, and have to offer in the future. We also get quite a bunch of goodies that we love to give away to our readers, but of course you get to keep some as well ;)

We need:

  • Columnists who can write 300+ words columns at least once a month.
  • Reporters / journalists that can join Maikel and the NiSuTe team on their quest for exclusive news. (you need to live in an 300 KM radius of the south part Netherlands and need to be available midweek’s.) Or you must work self efficient
  • News writers and editors. Write about the latest news that we get from the larger gaming press sites or straight from the developers themselves!

Even if you do not perfectly fit these descriptions, feel free to contact us. We might just be able to work something out!

Still interested? shoot us an email at maikel (at) nisute.com, you can be certain to get an email back from us!
