Well, Ankama gave us the oppurtunity to answer some of the dofus-community questions. Have fun reading!!!
1) Ankama is now putting a lot of effort into “class balancing”, which raises a lot of concern from players whose builds get heavily modified. Why is 1vs1 PvP the main source for the balancing? Ankama has long emphesized team play (dungeons, prospecting locks, etc), so shouldn’t the usefullness of classes in all sorts of fights, such as group PvM and team PvP, be considered? Read more
Left4Dead fans rebel against Valve

Today, developmag is reporting that hordes of angry L4D players have started a boycott against Left4Dead 2, which was announced only a week ago at the E3 Expo. The players fear that the L4D community will be split up in two with the L4D sequel coming out so soon after the first game, into those playing the first, and the others playing the newly announced sequel. The gamers are also worried that the promised content for L4D might be canned, or moved to L4D 2, and that Valve’s commitment to the first game is in danger.
The Steam Boycott Left4Dead 2 group has already gained over 15000 members since the announcement of the game last week, and it looks like a lot more gamers will tag on with the boycott, pledging to not buy the game if it comes out, instead suggesting that L4D 2 content be folded into the original game in add-on, or DLC form.
